Stephen K. Janes
Stephen K. Janes serves as Managing Director of Vair Training. He is responsible for the company’s public and in-house
financial courses and marketing communications. Steve received a BA from Hobart College after which he spent five years in
the field of education teaching at various levels. In 1995, he was employed as an instructor at the Ministry of Defense in
Rome, Italy where he lived for three years. While in Italy, Steve founded the import/export firm Del Mondo, LP. He moved
the entire operation to Boston, Massachusetts in 1998 and acted as its President and CEO until 2004. Steve worked as a
marketing and promotions consultant to corporations, retail businesses and universities from 2005 until his appointment to
The Vair Companies.
