"I do not work in finance and accounting, but the class drew many of the lessons that I learned from finance and accounting together. The class not only gave me practice with creating balancing financial statements in Excel, but also the teacher constantly stepped back to keep the big picture (the commercial discussions) in mind. Seeing the numbers balance and interact with one another was a great way to re-enforce my understanding of finance and accounting. The University should include more modeling as a part of finance and accounting instruction."
