David M. Sugrue
David M. Sugrue, is a Managing Director with The Vair Companies with responsibility for Operations and Marketing.
David has over 15 years experience in international conference organization and business development. David began his
career in 1990 with Simul Business Communications, a Tokyo-based international conference organizer and interpretation
service provider. There he focused on conference organization for American trade groups looking to increase awareness in
the Japanese market. In 1994 he became a consultant to Dentsu P.R. Center where he developed promotional campaigns in the
Japanese market for American companies such as Revlon and Coca-Cola. From 1997-2006 he was the International Sales Director
for GS Yuasa International, the world’s second largest manufacturer of rechargeable battery systems. He was posted in Los
Angeles, Tokyo, Italy, and the Netherlands. He holds a B.A. from Harvard College in Cambridge, MA. and an M.B.A from The
American Graduate School of International Management.
